Bed Project
It all started when…
My grandma moved in with us this winter. We had a spare room left over from when my siblings were toddlers. The trouble is, the bed was smaller than a twin - it was meant to be a child’s bed. Since the rest of the furniture in the room was solid cherry, my parents began searching for a bed that would match the rest of the room. I volunteered to do it for the material cost - I thought it would be a fun project!. Since my grandmother would be moving in within a week, I did not have much time to put something together. I had to build something that was sturdy, low enough for her to get in and out of comfortably, collapsible, and comfortable. I drew up a CAD model, and got to work!
